What we do, and what it includes

Roof replacement is most of what we do, all by our own crew. Each one has a scope you can read before you call, and a rate you can check against another bid.

Roof replacement

We take your old roof off, down to the wood, and replace any wood that’s gone soft. Then we build all five parts new: the waterproof layer, new metal at the edges and around pipes and walls, attic vents, and your choice of Owens Corning or CertainTeed shingles. Have another company’s bid? Bring it, and we’ll go through it with you line by line.

Solar removal and reinstall

We take your panels off before the old roof comes off. Once the new roof is on, we put them back, with new metal flashing wherever a panel mount goes through the roof. Want new panels or a battery? Our sister company, GoSimpleSolar, can help.

Roofing with solar

Flat roofs and TPO

Flat roofs are built differently. First a fire-rated base layer, then a half-inch insulation board, then a white TPO roofing sheet with its seams sealed together by heat. You can upgrade to thicker insulation, or to sloped boards that help water drain off so it doesn’t sit on the roof.

Inspections and reports

A free visit tells you how many years your roof has left. Need it in writing for an insurance company, a buyer or a seller? We write a paid report by the date you need it, with what we found, photos, a cost estimate, and anything we can’t know until the old roof is off.

We find what’s causing the leak first. Then we tell you if a repair will hold or if it’s time for a new roof.

Base bids are built around Owens Corning Duration or CertainTeed Landmark, with three step-ups. Cool Roof is available in every line, and color never changes the price.
