Licensed, Bonded &
Fully Insured
When you hire Affordable Roofing Systems, your home and our crew are fully protected. Here's what that means for you.
C39 Roofing Contractor License
In California, a C39 license is specifically required to perform roofing work. It means we've passed the state's trade and law exams, demonstrated industry experience, and maintain an active license with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
Why does this matter? An unlicensed contractor has no accountability. If something goes wrong, you have limited legal recourse. With a licensed contractor like us, you're protected by the state's contractor licensing framework — including access to the CSLB's complaint resolution process.
You can verify any contractor's license on the CSLB website. We encourage you to check ours — and any other contractor you're considering.
Comprehensive Insurance Coverage
We carry full insurance coverage to protect you, your property, and our crew. Here's what's included:
General Liability
Covers damage to your property during the course of work. If a crew member accidentally damages your siding, landscaping, or anything else, our insurance pays for the repair — not you.
Workers' Compensation
Covers medical expenses and lost wages if a crew member is injured on the job. Without workers' comp, a homeowner can be held liable for injuries that happen on their property — even for a hired contractor's employees.
Full Bonding
Our contractor's bond provides financial protection if we fail to complete the work or don't meet the terms of our contract. It's required by the state and provides an extra layer of consumer protection.
OSHA Safety Compliance
Our crews follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations on every job. This includes fall protection harness systems on steep-slope roofs, proper ladder placement, and safe material handling procedures.
Safety isn't just about protecting our crew — it's about protecting your family and property too. A contractor who cuts corners on safety is more likely to have accidents that damage your home or create liability issues.
We Pull All Required Permits
Every roofing project we do is permitted through your local city or county building department. Permits ensure the work is inspected and built to code. An unpermitted roof can cause serious problems: insurance claims may be denied, and it can become a deal-breaker when you sell your home.
We handle the entire permit process — application, fees, and scheduling the final inspection. You don't have to do a thing.
